Kaiser 3, Oxnard Pacifica 2 (OT)
After trading first-half goals, Pacifica scored what looked to be the
game-winner in the final minute of the second overtime, only to see Kaiser
respond almost immediately and send the contest to sudden death.
With two minutes left in the sudden-death period, Irving Alcantar bent a free
kick that caromed off the goalies hand in wet conditions and sent Kaiser
(18-7-4) to the semifinals.
Santa
Monica 7, Bloomington 0
Charlie Paris and Alessandro Canales each scored two goals for Santa Monica
(24-0-1). Orhan Basak, Eduardo Delgado and Ricky Martinez added one goal each.
Bloomington ends season with 12-11-3 record.

Mater Dei 3, Long Beach Cabrillo 1
Tony Bichai, Matt Ruiz and Chris Zamarripa each scored for host Mater Dei
(19-7-2). David Jimenez scored for Cabrillo (23-4-1).
Newbury Park 1, San Clemente 0
Alex McKay scored the lone goal for host Newbury Park (11-4-4) in the victory
over San Clemente (14-7-3).
Santa Margarita 1, Quartz Hill 0
Santa Margarita defender Roger Downes scored off a throw in the 60th minute.
Downes, a senior who is headed to LMU in the fall, headed the ball straight
in, according to Santa Margarita coach Curt Bauer. "Give him some
props," Bauer said. "He played amazing." Midfielder Alex
Rodriguez was on the throw in. This is only the second time Quartz Hill was
shutout this year. The Rebels (21-3-4) scored 106 goals during the season.
Santa Margarita (19-3-4) now have 15th shutouts on the season and this is
their third this post season.
The Eagles will play Trinity League rival Mater Dei in the semifinals. Santa
Margarita swept Mater Dei in league action. The Eagles won both games by a
combined scored of 5-1. The match will be at Mater Dei on Tuesday at 3 p.m.

Hiroki Maeda scored a goal in the second minute for host Peninsula (13-6-5) in
the victory over Riverside Poly (20-3-4).
West Torrance 2, Foothill 0
Tyler Krumpe scored the first goal on a cross from Jaime Lara in the 77th
minute for host West Torrance (17-3-5) in the victory over Foothill. RJ Oster
had four saves to record his 13th shutout of the year for the Warriors.

Ventura 1, Chaparral 1 (Ventura advances, 4-3 on penalties)

El Rancho 2, Santa Ana 1 (OT)
Rodrigo Zamora scored both goals, the first in the second half of overtime and
the second in sudden death overtime, for host El Rancho (18-4-3). Santa Ana
(17-5-1) scored on an own goal to take a 1-0 lead in the first half of
overtime. Cesar Roldan made five saves for El Rancho. Christian Rebollar made
four saves for Santa Ana. Zamora scored the game-winning goal on a breakaway
off an assist by Gerardo Cendajas.
La Habra 4, Santa Ana Valley 1
Edgar Bran scored two goals for host La Habra (24-4-1) in the victory over
Santa Ana (16-8-1).

Jairo Aquino scored the game-winner in the 30th minute to lift host Mountain
View (20-4-5) to victory over La Canada.

John Paul Herold scored two goals, including the game-winner in overtime, for
Oaks Christian (17-4-3) in the victory over Sierra Vista. Andrew Bierschank
scored the equalizer for the Lions in the last minute of regulation to send
the game into overtime.
Salesian 2, Silverado 1 (Triple OT)
Jonathan Reynaga scored the game-winner in sudden-death overtime to lift host
Salesian (17-0-1) to victory over Silverado.
La Puente 1, Hesperia 0 (OT)
DIVISION VI
Quarterfinal
Arrowhead Christian Academy 3, St. Margaret's 2
Charles Izydorek scored two goals, including one with five minutes remaining
in regulation to break a 2-2 tie and help second-seeded Arrowhead Christian
Academy (22-0-3) defeat host St. Margaret's. After a 1-1 halftime tie, Travis
Berryman scored to give Arrowhead Christian Academy a 2-1 lead in the 55th
minute. Elmer Flores scored both goals for St. Margaret's, including the one
that tied the game at 2-2 with six minutes remaining in the game. Mitchell
Wiseman made eight saves for Arrowhead Christian Academy, which will host
Desert Hot Springs in Tuesday's semifinals.
Desert Hot Springs 2, Bishop 0
Fidel Mesa and Gilberto Richard each scored for third-seeded Desert Hot
Springs (17-5-5) at Bishop (21-1-3).
