Tournament MVP Shannon Heinzler scored both goals and Amanda Klasila recorded her fourth shutout of the season for Notre Dame Academy (13-2-1), which allowed just two goals in the tournament. Calvary Chapel is 10-4-1.

Marissa Vasquez scored the game-winning penalty kick for Calvary Chapel (11-3), which plays in Saturday's finals.

Notre Dame Academy 0, Santa Cruz 0 (ND wins 6-5 on PKs)
Notre Dame Academy will play Santa Ana Calvary Chapel in Saturday's championship game at 6 p.m. at St. Margaret's.

CENTURY LEAGUE

Anaheim Canyon 2, Villa Park 1 (OT)
Jennifer Smith converted on a penalty kick in the 50th minute and the Comanches scored the winner on an own-goal in the final minute of overtime. Christina Alatore scored to tie the game in the 65th minute for Villa Park (8-3-2) in the league opener for both teams. Kristen Armstrong had four saves for host Canyon (8-5-4, 1-0). Hannah Zech made five saves for Villa Park.

MISSION LEAGUE

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 5, Alemany 2
Melissa Copping, Danielle Molina, Lisa Shaw, Mimi Roukoz and Carter Vettese all scored, leading host Sacred Heart Academy (7-4-3) past Alemany (0-4-2) in the league opener for both teams. Copping added two assists.

SUBURBAN LEAGUE

La Mirada 7, Cerritos 0
Lauren Nanez had two goals and an assist, with Lauren Cope adding two more goals as La Mirada (6-6-4, 1-1) outshot Cerritos (2-1 in league), 14-2.
