Palos Verdes' girls soccer team scored in the 80th minute to edge
host Bishop Montgomery, 5-4, in a nonleague game .
Katie Gwinn and Haley Rosen both got a foot on a rebound from a free
kick by Amanda Young, directing the ball into the net in the last minute
of the game.
Palos Verdes (9-0) trailed, 4-1, with 15 minutes left. When the Sea
Kings pulled to within 4-3, goalkeeper Laura DiBiase moved upfield on a
free kick and got an assist when she headed the free kick to Lacey
Califano, who scored the tying goal. Young had three goals for Palos
Verdes.

El Segundo 2, Culver City 0: Natalie Barbosa and Jenna Rich scored
for host El Segundo (7-1). Bronwyn O'Neill had eight saves for El
