Palos Verdes' girls soccer team scored in the 80th minute to edge host Bishop Montgomery, 5-4, in a nonleague game .

Katie Gwinn and Haley Rosen both got a foot on a rebound from a free kick by Amanda Young, directing the ball into the net in the last minute of the game.

Palos Verdes (9-0) trailed, 4-1, with 15 minutes left. When the Sea Kings pulled to within 4-3, goalkeeper Laura DiBiase moved upfield on a free kick and got an assist when she headed the free kick to Lacey Califano, who scored the tying goal. Young had three goals for Palos Verdes.

Redondo 3, Torrance 1: Megan Bucci scored twice as host Redondo (3-2-2) beat Torrance (3-4). Jazmin Ponce added a goal and two assists. Melissa Ramirez scored for Torrance.

El Segundo 2, Culver City 0: Natalie Barbosa and Jenna Rich scored for host El Segundo (7-1). Bronwyn O'Neill had eight saves for El Segundo.
